This page provides the Reading Pack: reference data for reading, with an AI, the book AGI: How Superhuman Intelligence Reshapes Civilization (Koichi Takahashi, Kodansha Sensho Metier, 2026). Load it into an AI chat to ask about the book on the basis of the author's views. Agent Skills-compatible hosts can use the Skill containing the Japanese and English Reading Packs.
The book is published in Japanese only. The English pack is designed for readers who do not read Japanese: it points to the author's English appendices and essays for verification, and the English terminology in it is the author's working translation.
Copy or attach
- Copy the pack with the button below, or download the file.
- If you paste the full text, send the Reading Pack alone. If you attach it as a file, send a start instruction that tells the AI how to use it. The ChatGPT instruction page linked above provides one to copy.
- The AI will display what the material is and the cautions that apply. Read that, then start asking.
Example questions: "contents", "summarize Chapter 2", "what grounds the ecosystem scenario in Chapter 6", "where does the book discuss the Landauer limit".
For agents and the command line there is a short URL: curl -fsSL https://koichi-takahashi.me/agibook/pack-en (Japanese pack: /agibook/pack).
An indexable page with stable retrieval URLs is also available for testing ChatGPT Web compatibility. If Web loading fails, attach the complete Reading Pack as described above.
Agent Skill
For an Agent Skills-compatible host, download the Skill that bundles the Japanese and English Reading Packs. It is a compatibility container for the same reviewed material; it does not add or change content or approval. Follow your host's instructions for installing a Skill.
Download the Agent Skill (ZIP)
From a command line, you can also use curl -fLO https://koichi-takahashi.me/agibook/skill.

About this material
The Reading Pack is a single file carrying, in a machine-friendly notation, a chapter-and-section map, chapter summaries, canonical propositions with their certainty categories and falsification conditions, reading issues and responses, people and term indexes, references, and book-specific policies. Chapter summaries are at the level of a table of contents, not summaries of the text. An AI that can browse may also consult the English appendices and essays and the machine-readable companion bundle online.
Production method and public specifications
This Reading Pack was generated and release-checked with reading-pack, the open-source reference implementation of the public Reading Pack Format Specification 1.0-draft and Reading Pack Production Standard 1.0-draft (beta). The format, production process, author review, and release-decision method are published on GitHub.
reading-pack-bot, a server implementation for publishing a Reading Pack as a conversational interface on Slack or Discord, is also available. The ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini links on this page do not use reading-pack-bot.

These licenses do not automatically apply to book texts or individual Reading Packs. This book's Reading Pack is provided under CC BY-ND 4.0, as stated in the terms above.
